Art. 1029 Intervention

This rule is short and direct. It means that outside parties cannot join a case after it has already started, at least not in the types of proceedings covered by this section of the Children's Code.

In everyday terms, if a case is already underway, someone who is not already part of it cannot ask a judge to let them join in or add their own claims. Only the people who are already involved in the case get to participate. This keeps these cases focused on the parties who are supposed to be there, without other people or groups stepping in later to add their own interests or arguments.

This matters because it limits who has a say in these specific legal proceedings. If you are not already a party to the case, you generally cannot force your way in, even if you feel the outcome might affect you in some way.
