Art. 110 References to code articles or statutory sections

This rule explains how to read references inside the Children's Code. When the code mentions a Title, Chapter, or Article without saying where it comes from, it means that section is part of the Children's Code itself, not some other law.

The rule also covers what happens when laws get updated. If the Children's Code points to a specific article or law section, that reference still counts even after that law gets changed or amended later. This means people using the code do not have to worry about outdated references. The rule automatically applies to the most current version of the law being referenced.
