Art. 314.1 Special venue in proceedings concerning child support

If you need to change a child support order, including medical support or income assignment, you can't just file the request in any parish. You have to file it in the specific parish that Louisiana law says is the right one for these types of cases. That location is spelled out in a different law, Code of Civil Procedure Article 74.2.
