Art. 717 Notice of modification

When a judge changes a disposition order for a child's case, everyone involved needs to be told about it in writing. The court sends a copy of the document showing what changed to the people who filed the case, the child, and the child's parents.

The court also has to notify anyone who has custody of the child because of the case. This could be a person, a group, or an agency that was given responsibility for the child.
