Art. 802 General applicability

This rule simply confirms that the regular parts of the Children's Code still apply unless a specific rule in this section says otherwise. Think of it as a backup rule that keeps everything else in place.

In practical terms, this means courts, parents, and children involved in a case should still follow all the normal rules and procedures already laid out in the Children's Code. The only time this changes is if a rule found in this particular title spells out something different. So if you don't see a special exception written down, the standard rules are the ones being followed.
