Art. 1073 Additional parties

If someone in a lawsuit wants to file a cross-claim, they are not limited to only suing the people who are already part of the case. They can also bring in new people who were not originally named as parties.

This gives more flexibility when disputes come up between parties in a lawsuit. For example, if one defendant wants to make a claim against another person or company that was not part of the original case, this rule allows that person or company to be added so the whole dispute can be handled together.
