Art. 1203 Citation to legal representative of multiple defendants

If you're suing several people who all share the same legal representative, the court only needs to send one citation to that representative, not a separate one for each person being sued. For example, if one person is acting as the legal representative for multiple defendants in the same lawsuit, that representative only gets notified once.

This rule keeps things simple and avoids unnecessary paperwork. Instead of sending multiple copies of the same citation to one person just because they represent several defendants, the court treats it as a single notification. The representative is still legally responsible for making sure all the defendants they represent are aware of the case, but they only receive one official citation to do so.
