Art. 1882 Provisions independent and severable

If a court decides that one part of these rules (Articles 1873 through 1883) is invalid or unconstitutional, that decision does not cancel out the rest of the rules. Each part stands on its own. The other sections keep working normally, even if one piece gets struck down.

This matters because it protects the whole set of rules from being thrown out over a problem with just one piece. If someone challenges a specific article and wins, courts and parties can still rely on all the other articles in this group. It gives everyone confidence that the system won't collapse because of one flaw.
