Art. 3193 Powers of surviving representatives

When there's more than one person handling a deceased person's estate, and one of them dies or stops serving for some reason, the person or people left can still do everything the group was originally allowed to do. Their power doesn't shrink just because there are fewer of them now.

This only changes if the deceased person's will specifically says something different. For example, if the will states that certain decisions require all representatives to agree, or that a specific replacement must be named, then that instruction would apply instead. But if the will is silent on this point, the surviving representative or representatives can keep managing the estate with full authority, just as the whole group could before.
