Art. 4072 Inventory or detailed descriptive list on appointment of provisional tutor

When a court appoints a provisional tutor to temporarily manage a minor's affairs, it must also order that someone make a list of the minor's property. This can be a full inventory or a detailed written list, depending on which option applies under the related rules (Articles 4101 and 4102).

This step happens automatically alongside the appointment. The point is to create a clear record of what property the minor owns right from the start. That way, everyone knows what assets are being managed, and there's a clear starting point to check against later if there are ever questions about how the tutor handled the minor's property.
