Art. 79 Action to dissolve partnership

If you want to legally end a partnership through the courts, you have to file the case in a specific location. That location is the parish where the partnership does its main business, or where it used to do its main business if it's no longer operating there.

This means you can't just pick any courthouse that's convenient for you. The law requires the case to be filed where the partnership's business was actually centered, since that's the place with the closest connection to the partnership's operations and records.
