Rule 34.3 Notice to Litigants

When a case involves a domestic violence protective order or injunction, the person handling the hearing (whether that's a hearing officer or domestic commissioner) has to give both sides written notice about their right to object to the decision. This notice must be included right in the written recommendation or judgment itself.

The notice has to explain two things clearly: how much time the parties have to file an objection, and what steps they need to take to actually file one. This way, both people involved know exactly what their options are and won't miss their chance to challenge the ruling simply because they didn't understand the process.

This rule exists to make sure people aren't left guessing about their rights after a hearing. Domestic violence cases move fast and carry serious consequences, so getting clear instructions in writing helps both sides know what to do next if they disagree with the outcome.
