XXIII § 32 Immunity.

People who help investigate and judge complaints against judges cannot be sued for doing their jobs. This protection covers members of the Judiciary Commission, hearing officers who work for the Commission, the Commission's top staff leader, and the various lawyers who handle these cases (Special Counsel, Commission Counsel, and Hearing Officer Counsel). It also covers the staff members who work under them.

This means that if these people are doing their official work on a judicial misconduct case, they are fully protected from being sued over it. Someone cannot file a civil lawsuit against them just because they disagree with a decision made or an action taken during an investigation or hearing. This protection exists so these officials can do their jobs honestly and fairly without worrying about getting sued by someone unhappy with the outcome.

The immunity only applies to actions taken as part of their official duties. It gives these people confidence to investigate and rule on complaints against judges without fear of personal legal consequences for doing their job correctly.
