III § 8 Utilizing Records Lodged with the Supreme Court of Louisiana

If your case has documents already filed with the Louisiana Supreme Court, you can point to those same documents in another appeal you have going on at the same time. You don't have to make and file extra copies of paperwork the Court already has on hand.

This saves time, money, and paper. If the same records are relevant to more than one appeal you're involved in, the Court lets you simply reference the ones already on file instead of resubmitting everything from scratch.
