Rule 5.502 Supervision of Trusts

When a Michigan court is overseeing a case involving a trust, it can decide to keep a closer eye on how that trust is being run. If the court makes that decision, it must clearly spell out exactly what that supervision will look like.

This means the court will set specific rules about what the trustee must do, report, or follow while under court watch. Nothing is left vague. The trustee and anyone else involved will know precisely what is expected of them.
