Rule 9.241 Appearance Before Commission

After a neutral (a person who heard the case first) finishes their report, the commission schedules another hearing. This hearing gives both sides a chance to speak up if they disagree with what the report says.

At this hearing, the person accused of wrongdoing (the respondent) and the lawyer handling the case against them (disciplinary counsel) can both make oral arguments. This means they can speak directly to the commission and explain why they agree or disagree with the report's findings.
