Rule 10.25 Minutes

When a commission holds a meeting, someone has to keep written notes called minutes. These notes need to list which members showed up to the meeting. They also need to record if anyone objected to the meeting happening, such as complaints that people weren't given proper notice or enough notice ahead of time.

The minutes must also write down every action the commission takes during the meeting. This creates an official record of what decisions were made. Beyond these required items, the commission can also include any other information its members think is worth noting.

This rule matters because it creates a paper trail. If someone later questions whether a meeting was run properly or wants to know what was decided, the minutes provide proof of what actually happened.
