Rule 130.10 Temporary Orders

When a commissioner finishes reviewing a case and sends the findings and recommendations to the judge, the judge does not have to wait for a final decision to take action. The judge can look at what the commissioner found and put a temporary order in place while the case is still moving toward a final judgment.

This means people involved in the case may see some rules or decisions apply right away, even though the case is not fully finished. The temporary order helps handle urgent issues or keep things stable until the judge makes a final ruling.
