Rule 4-109 Findings and recommendations of referee.

When a child support referee holds a hearing, they have to write down what they decided and why. This written report goes to both the parties (or their lawyers) and to the district court judge.

The report has to include the facts the referee found to be true, what the referee recommends the court do, and any objections or exceptions that came up during the process. This gives everyone a clear record of what happened at the hearing and what the referee thinks should happen next. The judge will use this report to decide whether to approve the referee's recommendations or make a different ruling.
