Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
Rule 1103 simply gives this set of rules its official name. It says these laws should be called the "Nebraska Evidence Rules" whenever someone refers to them in court, in legal writing, or anywhere else.
This kind of rule does not affect how evidence works in a case. It just sets the official title so everyone (judges, lawyers, and the public) uses the same name when talking about these laws.
