Rule 5-119 Fees and expenses.

When a judge or justice is investigated under these rules, the commission handling the case covers the reasonable costs, fees, and expenses that come up during the process. This money comes from funds set aside for this purpose.

If the judge or justice is cleared of wrongdoing, they don't have to pay any of these costs. But if the commission does take action against them, the costs get divided up fairly between the parties involved.
