Rule 6-902 Office of Judicial Branch Education; provide training.

This rule explains who is in charge of creating training for juries and jury assistants. The Office of Judicial Branch Education has the job of putting together all the training materials and sessions that courts are required to use. Before any of this training can be used, the Nebraska Supreme Court has to approve it.

Once the materials are approved, individual courts use them under the guidance of the Office of Judicial Branch Education. This means every court across the state follows the same approved training, instead of each court making up its own rules. The goal is to keep jury training consistent no matter which courthouse you are in.
