Rule 3-324 Rules are cumulative.

This rule simply says that these discipline procedures work alongside other rules, not instead of them. If other rules or laws also apply to a lawyer's situation, those rules still count too.

In practice, this means the court isn't limited to only using these specific procedures when handling lawyer discipline cases. Other applicable rules, laws, or court procedures can still be used at the same time. Nothing in this rule set cancels out or replaces other rules that might apply to the situation.
