Court records that are stored electronically are open to the public. You can look at them in two ways: by using a court-approved online service to view them remotely, or by visiting a courthouse and using one of the public access computers there.

This doesn't mean every record is available, though. Some records or parts of records are kept private because of other laws or court policies. So while the general rule is that electronic court records are public, certain information can still be blocked from public view when the law says it should be protected.
