Section 11 Effective date of administrative rule

When the Nevada Supreme Court adopts a new administrative rule or gets rid of an old one, that change doesn't happen right away. There's a built-in waiting period of 30 days from the day the court makes its decision before the change actually takes effect.

The court does have the power to change this timeline if it wants to. If the court decides a rule should take effect faster or slower than the standard 30 days, it can order that instead. So while 30 days is the normal waiting period, it's not set in stone for every single case.
