Section 12 Effective date

This rule simply sets the date when Nevada's attorney discipline rules officially started being used. That date was July 12, 1978.

From that day forward, any rule about attorney discipline, whether it already existed or was being proposed, had to follow this starting point. In practical terms, this rule doesn't affect how attorneys are disciplined today. It's mainly a historical marker showing when the current system of rules began.
