Rule 1:19-7 Procedure

The Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics gets to decide how it runs its own process. This includes how it handles questions that come in and how it writes its opinions.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey has to approve these procedures before they take effect. So while the committee has flexibility in setting its own rules, the Supreme Court has the final say.
