Rule 15-605 Per diem and compensation.

This rule explains how bar examiners, panelists, and committee members get paid for their work. When they attend board meetings, committee meetings, hearings, or handle other board business, they get money back for their travel costs and a daily payment for their time.

The amount they receive follows the same rules used for other state officials who are not on regular salary. This rate comes from a state law called the Per Diem and Mileage Act. The Supreme Court can also approve additional payment for their service to the board beyond these standard rates.
