Rule 17A-013 Request for reconsideration.

If you file a claim with the Client Protection Fund and it gets denied, or you disagree with the amount you were awarded, you have 30 days to ask for a second look. This request must be in writing. Both the person who filed the claim and the person the claim was filed against have this same right to ask for reconsideration.

You need to act within that 30 day window. If you miss the deadline, or if you ask for reconsideration but the commission still turns you down, that decision is final. There is no further appeal after that point, so this is your last chance to change the outcome.
