§ 214.5 Civil enforcement officers

Enforcement officers who carry out court orders in civil cases have to keep careful, organized records of the work they do. This means writing down what tasks they perform, like serving papers or enforcing judgments, and keeping those records in a way that's easy to look up later.

The rule also allows local municipal boards to appoint additional people to act as civil enforcement officers, beyond the specific officers already listed under UJCA 110. This gives towns and cities some flexibility to bring in more people to handle civil enforcement work when needed.
