Rule 402 General Admissibility of Relevant Evidence

Article IV: Relevance and Its Limits

Relevant evidence is admissible unless any of the following provides otherwise:

the Covenant to Establish a Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in Political Union with the United States of America the United States Constitution; the Commonwealth Constitution a Commonwealth Statute; these rules; or other rules prescribed by the Commonwealth Supreme Court.

Irrelevant evidence is not admissible.
