Rule 16 Answer

(a) Time to File. Within twenty (20) days after service of the Notice of Formal Proceedings, the Subject Judge may file with the Supreme Court a verified answer.

(b) Failure to Answer. The facts alleged in the Notice of Formal Proceedings may be deemed admitted if not specifically denied by answer or if no answer is filed within the prescribed time, in which event the sole issue to be determined shall be the appropriate disciplinary action, taking into account any aggravating or mitigating facts of the Subject Judge’s fault.
