Sec 2.3 Compensation and Reimbursement

Commissioners who serve in this role do not get paid for their work. It's a volunteer position. However, they can get money back for expenses they pay out of pocket while doing their job, like travel costs. So if a commissioner has to drive somewhere or pay for other reasonable costs tied to their duties, the court system will cover those expenses even though it won't pay them a salary or fee for their time.
