Art XII Revocation

This rule cancels the old bylaws of the Oklahoma Bar Association that had been in place since 1966. Once this rule takes effect, those older bylaws no longer apply.

However, this cancellation does not erase things that were already in progress. Any disciplinary cases already underway, existing policies, or ongoing programs of the Association continue as planned. It also does not change the duties or rights of officers and officials for the year 1971 or any time before that. In short, old business and responsibilities from that period stay intact, even though the old bylaws themselves are no longer in force going forward.
