§ 1510 Action on exceptions to report.

When commissioners file a report in a court case, any party involved has the right to object to it. This is called filing an "exception" to the report.

If a party raises a good reason for their objection, the judge can reject the report. The judge then has two options. They can send the case to a brand new set of commissioners, or they can send it back to the original commissioners to take another look.

This rule basically gives people a chance to challenge a commissioners' report if they think something is wrong with it, and it gives the judge the power to fix the problem before moving forward.
