§ 1515 Costs and fees.

When a property is divided up through a court case (called partition), the court also decides who pays the costs. This includes things like court fees, attorney's fees, and other expenses that came up during the case.

The court splits these costs among everyone involved based on how much of the property each person owns. So someone with a bigger share of the property pays a bigger share of the costs, while someone with a smaller share pays less.

If a person doesn't pay their share, the court can order that the money be collected the same way it would in any other case. This means the court has the power to enforce payment just like it would with any other unpaid debt from a lawsuit.
