§ 1581 Order to different counties - Separate and successive orders.

If you're trying to get property back through a court order, that order doesn't have to be limited to the county where you filed your case. You can ask the court to send the order to a different county if that's where the property actually is.

You're also allowed to send out more than one order at the same time, or one after another, if you need to. This might happen if you're not sure exactly where the property is located, or if it could be in multiple places. You get to decide how you want to handle this.

There's one catch on costs. Even if you send out several orders, you can normally only charge the cost of one of them to the other side. The court would have to specifically approve charging for more than one before you could recover those extra costs.
