This rule no longer exists. Oklahoma lawmakers canceled it back in 1980 through a new law that took effect immediately.

Since it's been repealed, this rule has no legal effect today. If you're researching an old case or document that references Rule 1639, keep in mind it was removed from the books more than 40 years ago and won't apply to any current legal matters.
