§ 1822 Construction with Dispute Resolution Act.

This law does not change or cancel any part of the Dispute Resolution Act. That other law, along with its rules and procedures, still applies in full. Think of it as a "no conflict" rule. It makes clear that this new act works alongside the Dispute Resolution Act, not in place of it.

If you are involved in a case that uses mediation or another form of dispute resolution, you can still count on the existing rules from the Dispute Resolution Act. Nothing here takes those protections or procedures away.
