Rule 7.7 Stay of Proceedings

If you're involved in a juvenile case that's being reviewed by this court, you or the other side can ask the court to pause the proceedings. To do this, you need to file a written request explaining why a pause is needed.

The court doesn't have to grant this request just because you ask. Judges get to decide whether a pause makes sense based on the situation. This means the timing and outcome of your case could depend on how the court views your specific request for a delay.
