§ 1062 Exceptions.

If you object to something during a trial and the judge notes it in the case record, that objection counts as if it had been written down and formally signed by the judge right when you made it. In other words, you don't need extra paperwork to make your objection official. As long as it's recorded, it holds up the same way it would if the judge had signed off on it in writing at that exact moment.

This matters because it protects your right to challenge something later, like on appeal. You don't lose that right just because the objection wasn't put into a separate signed document. The record itself is enough proof that you raised the issue at the right time.
