§ 223 Arrests otherwise lawful.

This rule makes sure that the new law doesn't accidentally cancel out other arrest laws that already exist. It simply says that if an arrest was legal before under other rules, it's still legal now. Nothing in this new section takes away that legality.

In practice, this means police officers can still make arrests the way they always have, as long as those arrests follow the normal legal rules. This rule is just a safety net. It protects lawful arrests from being challenged just because of this new section of law.
