§ 406 Misdescription of person injured or intended to be injured.

In practice, this protects cases from being thrown out over minor paperwork errors. A defendant can't escape charges just because there was a typo or mix-up in how the victim was named, as long as the facts of the crime are clear and it's obvious what happened.
