§ 55 Allegation and proof.

When someone breaks the terms of a bail bond, the court case against them must state the specific crime they were convicted of. This conviction is what counts as the "breach" of the bond agreement.

The official court record of that conviction is treated as solid proof. It cannot be argued against or questioned in this proceeding. If the record shows a conviction, that fact is settled and accepted as true.

This rule makes bail bond cases move faster. Instead of re-proving guilt or arguing about what happened, the court just looks at the conviction record. That record alone is enough to show the bond was broken.
