§ 663 Exception to the challenge.

When someone in a court case objects to a juror (this is called a "challenge"), the other side has options for responding. They can question or disagree with that objection, similar to how they would respond if someone challenged the entire jury pool instead of just one juror. If the judge agrees with the objection to the juror, that juror gets removed from the jury.

The other side also has a second option. Instead of arguing about whether the objection is valid, they can simply speak up in court and deny that the facts behind the objection are true. This gives them two ways to push back: they can argue the legal grounds do not hold up, or they can dispute the actual facts being used to challenge the juror.
