RULE 1.171 DISPOSITION OF CASES

When the Oklahoma Supreme Court assigns a case to a division of the Court of Civil Appeals, that division has full authority to decide the case. Once the decision becomes final, it stays final. You cannot appeal it to the Supreme Court, and no other division of the Court of Civil Appeals can review it or second-guess the decision.

This means the division handling your case has the last word on that particular case once its ruling is final. The system is set up this way so cases do not get passed around endlessly between different divisions or bounced back up to the Supreme Court after a decision has already been settled. If you are involved in a case that gets sent to one of these divisions, you should understand that their final decision is the end of the road for that specific case within this process.
