If the Oklahoma Supreme Court takes your case through certiorari and then rules against you on the merits, you still have a chance to ask the court to reconsider. You can file a petition for rehearing, which is basically a formal request asking the court to take another look at its decision.
You have to follow the same process and deadlines that apply to any other request for rehearing of a Supreme Court opinion, as laid out in Rule 1.13. This means you cannot make up your own timeline or approach. You need to file within the set time limit and follow the same steps other parties use when asking the court to revisit a ruling.
In short, this rule makes sure that people who lose after a certiorari decision have the same rehearing rights as anyone else appealing a Supreme Court opinion. It just points you to the existing rehearing rules instead of creating a brand new process.
