sec 14.4 Conveyance of Property Held in Name of Limited Liability Company or its Members or Managers

When a limited liability company (LLC) owns property, the deed can simply be signed in the company's name. If the company bought the land and holds title as an LLC, that same LLC can sign when it later sells or transfers the property.

Sometimes a deed names a person as a "member" or "manager" instead of naming the LLC directly. If that deed does not mention which LLC the person represents, that same person can still sign later documents using that same title (member or manager) without any issue.

If the deed does name a specific LLC along with the person's title as member or manager, that person can also sign future documents the same way, using their title and referencing that same company. In both cases, the point is that whoever signed the original deed in a certain role can keep signing in that same role later on, so title stays clear and consistent.
