§ 135.690 Resubmission of case

If a judge decides a case can be resubmitted, it has to go through the same process it went through the first time. This means the case follows the same steps and rules that are laid out in ORS 135.540, which covers how a case is presented and reviewed.

In practical terms, resubmitting a case is not a shortcut. The court and the parties involved still have to follow the standard procedure for reviewing the case, just as if it were being submitted for the first time. This keeps the process fair and consistent, so nothing gets skipped just because the case is going through again.
