§ 144.470 Disposition of enrollee’s compensation under program; rules

If someone is part of the work release program and earns money from a job, they have to hand that money over to the Department of Corrections right away. The only exception is money that gets automatically taken out by the employer, like taxes or other required withholdings. People in this program don't get to keep their paychecks directly.

The Director of the Department of Corrections has to create official rules that explain what happens to this money once it's turned in. These rules spell out how the money gets used or distributed after someone earns it through their work release job.
